Gladstone is a city in Stark County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 239 at the 2010 census.[1] It is part of the Dickinson Micropolitan Statistical Area.

Gladstone was founded in 1882 by James Gray Campbell. It was named for British Prime Minister William Ewart Gladstone.[4]

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 248 people, 95 households, and 64 families residing in the city. The population density was 695.8 people per square mile (266.0/km²). There were 106 housing units at an average density of 297.4 per square mile (113.7/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 95.56% White, 1.21% Native American, 2.42% from other races, and 0.81% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.44% of the population.
There were 95 households out of which 34.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.8% were married couples living together, 7.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.6% were non-families. 25.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.61 and the average family size was 3.14.
In the city the population was spread out with 27.4% under the age of 18, 10.1% from 18 to 24, 29.8% from 25 to 44, 21.0% from 45 to 64, and 11.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 33 years. For every 100 females there were 115.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 122.2 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $26,563, and the median income for a family was $29,688. Males had a median income of $22,083 versus $18,750 for females.
